Colorado Wedding Invitation / Steamboat Springs

We wrapped up the Colorado wedding we had been working on since last Fall and it was such a stunner. The event was out West in Steamboat Springs so the aspen trees and mountains gave us great inspiration. Plus the family wanted to incorporate their native american heritage, and love of hunting & outdoors. This wedding suite included letterpress printing, woodgrain paper, foil printing, watercolor imagery, and a box mailer with custom postage. We were able to carry the watercolor crest from the Save the Dates into the invitation folder. The woodgrain booklets were wrapped in velvet ribbon and secured with handmade feather tassels. The mountains have called!

Bloomsbury Farm Wedding / watercolor suite

Last Fall we worked with the always wonderful Big Events, based out of Franklin, Tenn. Their beautiful bride got married at Bloomsbury Farm and we came up with a dreamy, romantic suite to fit the occasion.

Watercolor Crest - Save the Date

I know we're not supposed to pick favorites and all, but this is definitely a favorite. The bride really wanted a one-of-a-kind crest so we incorporated imagery from the Colorado mountains where the wedding will be held.

I love the bright cheerfulness of the crest balanced with the rugged letterpress on the opposite side. The Save the Date card was letterpress printed on wood grain paper, die-cut, and feature a custom illustration of antlers & headdress, along with a wood grain envelope liner. The Native American illustrations give a nod to some of the family heritage & there will be cocktails in a tee-pee on the big day. Hopefully guests are packing their bags already!

Teepee Invitations - Will you be my bridesmaid?

One of our brides is marrying in Steamboat Springs next summer and at the tip top of her list was to ask her favorite gals to be in the bridal party. We wanted to come up with something really meaningful and fun to get her friends exited. A teepee is a one of the images we're using in her wedding suite so we created a miniature version for the girls to set out on their desk or dresser.

The card folds in half with a blank space for the bride to write a special note. Then we tied them with twine and tucked in some feathers with a little example included on how to put together. A tiny bit of DIY and there you have your own teepee!

A Southern tradition, the Sip 'n' See is a chance to coo over the new baby & hug the new momma. These invitations are sold blank so you can fill in the details yourself. Each envelope is lined with the coordinating watercolor pattern. sip-see-pink

These were inspired from pieces of a birth announcement we just wrapped up. We did a mini photoshoot in the barn & will share more details really soon!

stompin' the divots polo party

What started as a "save the date" design ended up a party invitation. Currier drew this great polo player & flag illustration and it didn't up jiving with the bride for her wedding, but she loved it for a party hosted in their honor. We were just happy this little guy got to go somewhere! The type was letterpressed and the vibrant watercolor printed 4-color. The shindig was on a beautiful farm in Franklin and the groom is a professional polo player so there was even a match before the big dinner.

I think the best part is the detail on the envelope. Gives it a little somethin' special before the big reveal inside.

graymar farm wedding - franklin, tennessee

IMG_6505
Tenn Hens just wrapped up a beautiful wedding that was held on a family farm. In fact this was daughter #2. We designed their eldest daughters "stitched-invite" suite a few years ago. The farm is in Franklin, TN and the setting is beyond picturesque.

We worked from start to finish on every detail of this big day with bride Margaret. She really wanted to use some different printing techniques so we blind-letterpressed a pattern and used an amber gold foil for the text. What was so fun was working with her from the start of the save the dates, to wedding sutie, to the "day of" paper goods like: matches, koozies, napkins, photo-booth signage, menus, hotel booklets, and welcome packages.

It was truly a pleasure working with event planner, Libby Page. She certainly made the process fun! And bride Margaret was a delight as well. She had great ideas to get us started and then let us fly away with production from there.

Gorgeous pics from Nashville photographer, Mary Rosenbaum. And Currier even drew up some colorful chalkboard signage for the bar area.
